Elaine Michel

Trustee of the Society

I've lived in the Borough since childhood and have an association with Battersea since my teens when I'd go to drama group at Battersea Arts Centre. In the late 80s I moved to north Battersea and have been here ever since.

I've always taken an active interest in local issues, being active in my local residents’ association and the Borough Forum rep for a few years. Since retiring I've been more involved with local groups like the WI and volunteering with charities like Thrive, Trinity Hospice, BAC and now the Battersea Society. I'm particularly interested in local history and green spaces and look forward to contributing to Battersea Society activities.
