A fascinating talk by archivist and author Jon Newman on the American artist James McNeill Whistler – featuring the famous Nocturne: Blue and Gold – Old Battersea Bridge painting now held in the collections of Tate Britain.  Walter Greaves used to row Whistler on his Thames painting expeditions.
