Turner’s House is the only surviving building designed and lived in by the great landscape painter J.M.W. Turner. The house is an elegant Regency period property - restored to its original appearance - and provided him with a quiet retreat away from the pressures of the London art world. It also provided a home for his father, old William, in retirement from his trade as a barber and wigmaker in Covent Garden. Toward the end of his life Turner stated that if he could live it again he would have been an architect.
Max 15 people.
