Jenny Thomas from the Battersea Society Events Committee will be hosting the Book Club meeting - and the book up for discussion is …The Midnight Man by Julie Anderson.  Book One in the Clapham Trilogy.  Set in Winter 1946, a young nurse goes missing from the South London Hospital for Women and Children on Clapham Common.  Her body is discovered hours later behind a locked door.  Before becoming a crime fiction writer, Julie was a senior civil servant. She lives in south London where this story is set.
