Full house for Battersea’s General Election hustings

The Battersea Society hosted a hustings on 27 June, giving all comers the chance to hear from and ask questions of our MP candidates. The discussion in front of a standing-room only audience was wide-ranging and engaging. Our thanks to the chair, the Venerable Stephen Taylor, vicar of St. Mary’s Battersea, to the candidates, and to everyone who joined us. Thanks, too, to St. Peter’s Church on Plough Lane where the event was held.

The candidates, L-R: Marsha de Cordova, Labour; Joe Taylor, Green party; Tom Pridham, Conservative party; Francis Chubb, Liberal Democrats; Barry Edwards, Reform UK; Tom Meek, representing Rejoin EU; Dan Smith, Worker’s Party of Britain
