I love Battersea and have lived here since 1983. I have a PhD in architectural history and formerly worked as a museum curator, then as a heritage consultant.

I was a Battersea Society trustee from 2018 to 2026 and am the current Chair of its Open Spaces Committee. Recently I put together a set of six online self-guided walks to encourage everybody to get out and explore these, in all their splendid variety; you’ll find those on our Open Spaces page.
