What's on in Battersea

This page lists details of non-society events taking place in Battersea, in neighbouring areas, or sometimes London-wide.

If your society or organisation has a forthcoming event which you think might be of particular interest to Battersea Society members then do , with full details. This service is at present only available for voluntary or non-profit organisations and we can't promise to include every event submitted.

Forthcoming events organised by the Battersea Society are listed here

Wednesday 20 January-Sunday 14 March
Pump House Gallery Exhibition: Four Fatrasies
Time: 11am-5pm (4pm Fri/Sat)
‘Four Fatrasies’ is an exhibition that marks a new and important development in the dialogue between Glasgow-based artists Alex Pollard and Clare Stephenson. Both influenced by decadent French literature and its fascination with medievalism the artists present a hyper-theatrical, sculptural  installation over the four floors of Pump House Gallery.

A fatrasie is a medieval nonsense poem, overtly paradoxical and strange by its nature, it disrupts any semblance of established logic or rationalism through repetition and absurdity.
