Take part in London Assembly survey of Cycle Parking

The Transport Committee of the London Assembly has launched an investigation – led by Joanne McCartney AM - to identify ways of increasing the provision of good quality cycle parking. The investigation will look at the role of all the organisations involved in providing cycle parking - including TfL, the boroughs, employers, train operating companies, Network Rail and retail centres - and make recommendations on improving the availability of good quality facilities.

The key areas the investigation will cover are:

  • To establish how good quality cycle parking provision in London can be further increased through the planning system and other policy interventions.
  •
  • To identify what the potential roles are of the Mayor, Transport for London, London boroughs and others in increasing the provision of good quality cycle parking.
  •   To identify what lessons can be learned from recent new developments in London and how high quality cycle parking provision in proposed developments in the capital can be maximised.

The Committee is asking Londoners to complete a short survey about their views and experiences of cycle parking.
