Deadline looms for comments on Clapham Junction development plans
Time is running out to get your views heard on the plans for the re-development of Clapham Junction. The consultation period ends on 17th November, by which time all objections and other comments should be received. The scheme was initially presented at an exhibition on the site in January 2008. Members of the Battersea Society took part in a discussion about the plans with the developers’ agents and architects. A response was produced and agreed by the society's Planning Sub-Committee to reflect the concerns of members about these proposals, and expressed concern about the height of the proposed "twin towers", as well as making wider observations about other aspects of the scheme.
