For one day only, Battersea High Street will go back in time and be transformed into a Victorian street fair, with stilt walkers, fire eaters, a Christmas Market with great gift ideas, Santa’s Grotto, fun fair rides, burlesque acts, carol singers, mulled wine, donkey rides and much much more. And, for the first time ever, Battersea High Street will sparkle with Christmas lights!
It begins at midday on Sunday 12 December, and the fun will go on till 5pm.
Organized by the Battersea high Street Traders’ Association and with the support of Wandsworth Council, the event will help raise funds for The Katherine Low Settlement, a local charity which has been doing tremendous work for the elderly and the children of the Battersea community since 1902.
Getting there: Battersea High Street, SW11 3JS. Nearest Tube/Train Station Clapham Junction or bus routes 319, 49, 344, 345, 44, 170. Free entry.
