Get drawing at Wandsworth Museum on 2 October

As part of The Big Draw 2010, Wandsworth Museum is holding Workshops on 2nd October to encourage all Wandsworth residents to get drawing!

Art practitioners from Roehampton University will be on site for the whole day facilitating a range of activities for all ages using the Wandsworth Museum’s enormous and eclectic collection as inspiration.
This year’s theme is Make your Mark on the Future! Possible subjects include changing places, architecture, habitats and habitation, fashion, climate change, ecology and re-cycling. Come and take part in the creative and imaginative workshops and re-discover the love of drawing (or discover it for the first time!)

Wandsworth Museum is an independent, regional museum which celebrates the human and natural history of the Wandsworth region of London. It pays tribute to the traditional skills and enterprise of the people of Wandsworth as it has evolved from a rural, agricultural idyll to become a centre of industrial expertise in Victorian England to the ever-changing, culturally diverse borough of the 21st century.

The Big Draw will be held at Wandsworth Museum on Saturday, 2nd October 2010 from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

The Wandsworth Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10.00am – 5.00pm.
Adult admission for 1 year - £8.00, Concessions - £6.00, Under 18s - £5.00, Under 5s – free.
