The proposed extension of the Northern Line to Nine Elms and Battersea has taken a significant step forward as the formal public consultation on route and station options begins with the circulation of a leaflet and questionnaire to nearly 40,000 households in the London Boroughs of Wandsworth, Lambeth and Southwark, as well as to hundreds of local organisations.
The leaflet provides information about the proposed tube extension of the Charing Cross Branch of the Northern Line from Kennington to Battersea Power Station, and seeks views from the public on which of four options for the route of the extension (and associated station locations) is preferred.
You can download a copy of the leaflet by clicking here. Responses to the questionnaire are requested by 28th June.
