The above photographs illustrate perfectly what we hope to achieve with our photo galleries. Battersea has a long and proud past, a vibrant present, and is looking forward to the future with growing confidence. The Battersea Society would like to record all those phases in pictures.
We've made a small start with our first galleries, one showing a number of Battersea gardens at their springtime best, and another beginning the task of recording the borough's public houses, many of which of course have a long history themselves. If you have photographs you'd like to contribute to either of these galleries, or would like to see a photo gallery featuring another aspect of Battersea life, then please get in touch by email.
