Local historian Sean Creighton’s talk explores the beauty and history of St Mary’s Churchyard.
With one of the best collections of monuments in south London the churchyard is laid out as a garden with historic tombs set within the grass as well as gravestones against the boundary walls; among those buried in the churchyard is botanist William Curtis (d.1799).
